The program combines hands-on work with cultural immersion, personal growth, and exposure to the world of high-quality service and gastronomy.
Designed for anyone interested in hospitality, food, people, and international experiences – whether or not you have prior professional experience. This is an international program that brings together participants from around the world, creating a multicultural environment where participants gain practical skills, work in a dynamic team, meet people from different cultures, and build confidence, independence, and valuable life experience, all while living and working in Tel Aviv.
You can choose between two tracks in the program:
Track A – Food & Beverage / Hospitality
Includes roles such as hospitality staff, barista, bartender, and waitstaff.
Designed for motivated individuals with a strong service mindset, even without prior experience.
The program includes targeted trainings and enrichment workshops.
Track B – Kitchen Department (Culinary & Pastry)
Includes positions in cooking and pastry.
Intended for participants with a relevant professional certificate or, alternatively, proven prior experience in the field.
The program is accompanied by the hotel’s professional chefs and includes additional trainings.

The DAN hotel chain are known for their high standard of service and culinary skills. The opportunity to gain experience under the guidance of professionals managers, accomplished chefs and other masters of their craft, together with professional training will allow participants to gain valuable professional experience and improve their chances of future employment both in Israel and abroad

Tel Aviv is an international city that attracts visitors from all over the world. Participants encounter a variety of cultures, and their experience is enriched with an international environment at the Dan hotel chain. In addition, program participants will take part in various tours around the city to learn and experience the city's culture and cuisine.

Participants will expand their knowledge and skills by learning new cooking techniques, recipes and approaches to gastronomy specific to local and international cuisine.

Working in the hospitality industry requires strong communication skills with both colleagues and guests. Participants will have the opportunity to develop and strengthen their interpersonal abilities by collaborating closely as part of a team, providing service, and interacting with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and cultures.

Participants live in new, fully furnished apartments in Tel Aviv. Meals are provided on work days, along with an unlimited monthly public transportation pass and basic health insurance for non-pre-existing conditions. Participants are paid based on hours worked, with a minimum of four shifts per week and a minimum monthly salary of NIS 5,000. From the second month, NIS 1,000 will be deducted for housing and about NIS 500 for meals.

Masa fellows have access to many unique benefits that promote building a connection to Israel as well as growing your community. Weekly tours will take you to new destinations around Israel. Locally organized social activities and programming will facilitate developing your network and Hebrew language instruction will help you navigate Israeli society like a local.

The salary is based on the actual hours worked, with a minimum monthly salary of NIS 5,000.

This program is generously subsidized by the Masa grant (if you are eligible). Without the grant, the cost of the 6-mounth programs is $7300 USD. Program participation fee: $1000
You should also expect to pay for your own food expenses as well as your flights.
The Masa Fast Track Hospitality Program is an employment program approved by Masa. It is carried out through the issuance of a work visa and requires participants to provide proof of Jewish status, as required by the Israeli Ministry of Interior.
