Experience The Impact: Volunteer with Masa

Join Us  in Making a Difference

Are you looking for a meaningful volunteer experience in Israel like no other? Masa Israel Volunteers offers you the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of others while immersing yourself in the beauty and culture of Israel. After the events of October 7th, volunteering has never been more crucial, and your involvement can truly make a difference. With a new volunteer project split between TLV and Kiryat Gat, our 6-week volunteer program allows you to broaden your impact within the most vulnerable groups of Israeli society.

What are we actually doing ?

Kefiada is a three-week English-language day camp for 4th–6th grade students from the Partnership region: Kiryat Gat, Shafir Regional Council, and Lachish Regional Council. Each day, campers experience English in a fun, natural way through games, arts and crafts, sports, diverse activity days, and weekly trip days that bring extra adventure and excitement to the summer.
Kefiada operates within Partnership2Gether (P2G), part of the Jewish Agency’s global network of partnerships that strengthens connections between Jewish communities in Israel and around the world.
The counselor team includes both local Israeli teens and American counselors, working side by side to create an international, meaningful, and impactful summer experience.
Beyond the camp day, counselors participate in social evenings, team-building activities, and special events throughout the week. During the program, American counselors stay with local host families, giving them an authentic look into Israeli life and a “home away from home” that often becomes a lifelong connection.
Before camp begins, all counselors take part in a full Orientation Week, including a multi-day, off-site counselor retreat held each year in a different experiential location in Israel. This week provides training, bonding, and a shared foundation for a successful and inspiring summer.
Kefiada is more than just a summer camp. It is an opportunity to lead, connect, make an impact, and take part in building a living bridge between Israel and the United States.

Personal Connection

Stand in solidarity with the people of Israel during challenging times and contribute to the country's resilience and strength. Your six-week commitment will have a lasting impact on the lives of soldiers, communities, and individuals in need.

Living Essentials

Participants live in furnished apartments in Tel Aviv for the first 10 days and then we move to Kiryat Gat. We supply basic health insurance for non-pre-existing conditions.

Personal Growth

Connect to your heritage through community service, hiking, learning, and spiritual exploration. Build a meaningful connection to Judaism, Israel, and yourselves — while also contributing to the physical and social rebuilding of the land and its communities.

Masa Extras

Volunteering participants have access to many unique benefits that promote building a connection to Israel as well as growing their community. Tours will take you to the new destinations around Israel and locally organized social activities will connect you to Israeli society.
