Experience The Impact: Volunteer with Masa

Join Us  in Making a Difference

Are you looking for a meaningful volunteer experience in Israel like no other? Masa Israel Volunteers offers you the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of others while immersing yourself in the beauty and culture of Israel. After the events of October 7th, volunteering has never been more crucial, and your involvement can truly make a difference. With a new volunteer project every two weeks, our 6-week volunteer program allows you to broaden your impact within the most vulnerable groups of Israeli society.

What are we actually doing ?

In this six-week program, we’ll begin by supporting the rebuilding of communities in the Gaza Envelope. For the first week, participants will stay in a residential compound in Kibbutz Nahal Oz, taking part in hands-on projects that contribute to the kibbutz’s ongoing rehabilitation. Nahal Oz was deeply affected by the events of October 7, suffering profound losses and damage. All volunteer activities are carried out in close collaboration with local residents, offering meaningful opportunities to listen, learn, and connect with their stories.

Next, participants will spend one month volunteering on various army bases in central Israel, engaging directly with soldiers and gaining insight into their daily lives and service.

The program concludes with a final week in the northern border communities, where we’ll assist in recovery and resilience efforts in areas impacted by recent conflict. This portion of the program is being carried out in partnership with Livnot U’Lehibanot, an organization based in Tzfat that has been blending Jewish learning, community service, and spiritual exploration for over four decades. Through this collaboration, participants will work alongside Livnot staff and local residents to help strengthen affected communities, restore damaged spaces, and contribute to long-term rebuilding initiatives — all while exploring the unique spirit and beauty of the Galilee.

By joining this program, you’ll not only witness Israel’s resilience firsthand but also become part of it. Every task, every interaction, and every shared story helps rebuild lives and communities. Your presence and effort will make a tangible difference — one act of service, one connection, one moment of hope at a time.
